The operating system for Australian private hospital specialists.
aurii records the consult at the bedside and drafts the note, the letters and the discharge summary when the recording ends. It runs on the ward round, the theatre list and in private clinic rooms.
Delivery and billing
Signed letters go to the GP over Medical Objects. The delivery acknowledgement comes back to the letter in aurii. aurii drafts the billing items from each review for your practice to confirm and claim. Native billing in the app is coming.
Built and governed by practising specialists.
The board reviews every specialty template, the clinical safeguards and every material change to the documentation system before it reaches a ward.
- Professor Rohan Jayasinghe chairs the board. He is an interventional cardiologist, Head of Cardiology at Gold Coast University Hospital and Professor of Cardiology at Griffith University.
- Sitting specialists in cardiology, general medicine, general surgery and orthopaedics each own their specialty’s templates.
- Clinical sign-off is a release requirement. Drafting changes and safety escalations pass the board before they reach a ward.

Patient data in Australia
- Patient records are held in Microsoft Azure Australia East, in Sydney, with backups in Australia Southeast, in Melbourne.
- Records are encrypted in transit and at rest. Medicare numbers, IHIs and multi-factor secrets carry a second layer, with keys held in Azure Key Vault.
- Every action on a record is written to a hash-chained audit log, which the application cannot edit or delete.
- A practice can have its records deleted on request.
